Interested in joining Alpha Phi Omega? We’d love to hear from you!
Our chapter recruits new members at the beginning of the fall and spring semester. Any undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at least part time in Boston University interested in joining APO may pledge. Those who successfully complete the pledge program will be inducted as a brother (all members are called “brothers” regardless of being male or female). Members of Alpha Phi Omega may have membership in other social and business fraternities/sororities. We DO NOT practice or condone any type of hazing!
We hold several informational meetings at the beginning of each semester in order to allow you to get to know us and decide whether pledging APO is right for you. Our Spring 2017 Pledge Class has begun the pledge process. Anyone interested in pledging in the future should stay up to date on our social media, and look out for Fall 2018 pledge event dates!
If you decide to join APO (or even are strongly considering it), we invite you to attend Mocktails. Mocktails is an event that allows you to socialize with the brothers through several fun games and icebreakers. We recommend that you attend Mocktails even if you are not totally sure you want to join since it is a great way to meet new people and see what APO is about. By the end of the evening, you will have a much better understanding of who we are and whether we are right for you.
